GENERAL RULES OF CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE :-
1.The primary aim of the School is to give its pupils an education in keeping with the culture and tradition of the country. They are trained to realize their responsibility and to develop a strong civic sense or spirit that will prepare them for leadership in the society to which they belong. The greatest emphasis is placed on the knowledge and love of God, the formation of a true moral conscience, appreciation of family life and the service of their country.
2.Every student must possess a diary and should bring it to school everyday
3.Since it is a English medium school, pupils are expected to speak English during school hours, as a help to their academic progress in the subject.
4.Parents are earnestly requested to see that their children attend school punctually. They are asked to co-operate with the work of the school by enforcing regularity and discipline and by taking a general interest in their children’s progress. They should check the diary regularly and note the teacher’s remark, etc. All the students must remain present during assembly and take part in the prayer.
5.Late comers will not be allowed to enter the school premises
6.Students are expected to comport themselves in a manner befitting the stature and sanctity of the School. A students is liable for expulsion or may be dealt with severely from the school on any of the following grounds;
Stealing, ragging and forging signatures are serious offences.
Displaying unruly and delinquent behavior
Quarrelling/ indulging in violent/ disruptive behavior
Possession of mobile phones and other gadgets, valuables, ornaments and big sum of money
Destruction/ defacement of school property.
Willful disrespect to teachers and staff, disrespect to any religion and culture
Indifference to corrections, guidance or warnings for repeated violation of rules
lAny act of indiscipline, insubordination and interference in the school administration.
lDisgracing the school through wrongful conduct, Disrespect to teachers, students or visitors will be dealt with severely.
7.Any damage willfully done to school property must be made good by the students guilty of such damage as appraised by the authorities.
8.Scribbling/ drawing pictures on desks/ benches/ the walls, etc. are equivalent to damage caused to the school property. Hence action taken on such behavior will be based on that.
9.Coming to school with an unbecoming hairstyle/ inappropriate uniform/ painted or untrimmed nails/ face make ups/ mehendi, etc. are liable to punishments.
10.Enrolment in the school implies, on the part of the pupil and parent willingness to comply with requirements and regulations of the school
11.Pupils must abide by the general rules of discipline of the school. The Head Mistress reserve to herself the right to dismiss a student for the rude or insolent behavior or for any reason, which in the opinion of the Head Mistress lowers the general standard of discipline
12.Attendance is compulsory on the first day of school after every Vacations and on Independence Days. teacher’s Days, Republic Day, Sports Day etc. A Fine or Rs. 500 will be charged if the child remains absent on these days. No excuses will be entertained whatsoever may be the reason.
13.It is not expected to find big sum of money, Ornaments and Jewellery or any kind of valuables in possession of the students in the school. This may be confiscated by the school authorities when found. The school is not responsible for the loss of such things.
14.The school cannot be held responsible for accidents minor/ serious to pupils during the school hours or while taking part in sports/ co-curricular activities within or outside the school premises. Pupils are strictly forbidden to introduce objectionable literature in the school. Parcels and letters addressed to the students are subject to inspection. Pupils on their way to and from school are expected to deport themselves in responsible manner.
15.Students are not permitted to give personal gifts to members of the staff.
16.The students should not organize any sort of get together in the bus. If any students is found not obeying strict disciplinary action will be taken against him/ her
17.Each students is to enter and leave class room in an orderly manner. They are to leave their class room in a single file at all time. It is the responsibility of each class to see at the conclusion of class, all windows are latched and lights are switched off. When moving through the school for, Dance, Singing class, library, laboratory, computer, cultural programme, etc. students are to move quietly and as quickly as possible
18.Strict silence and great reverence is expected from the students during assembly, prayer time and singing. A very serious view will be taken of any misbehavior at those moments.
19.Each student is personally responsible for keeping the school clean and taking care of the furniture.
20.Chalks are never allowed to be taken from the class room to be used for any purpose except for writing on the blackboard with the permission of the teacher. EVERY Pupil must possess School Calendar which should be brought to school daily. In case of lose or damage to the calendar, a written application is to be made to the Principal by the parents or responsible guardians of the students to procure another School Calendar.
21.Students are prohibited to give or take things (article, letter, etc) to and from the classmate/ outside or get engaged in exchange/ sale and purchase of goods. In case of any necessary items is to be passed on, this should always be done through the hands of the school authorities
22.No students shall remain in the classroom during the breaks and before the assembly
23.No pupils shall leave the school premises without the permission of the Principal. For the well being and smooth running of the school.
